The legendary Cher heats up the night with her sultry voice and stunning revealing costumes. Cher takes stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Cher and her dancers combined make over 140 costume changes. In between changes, the audience is entertained by a larger than life vintage performance footage shown on a 34-foot tall, over 100-foot wide high definition screen. Clips from the popular TV show, Sonny and Cher, and film clips throughout her acting career are shown.

The show lasts 90 minutes. She performs her hits from across the decades. Popular hits like “The Beat Goes On,” “I Found Someone,” “Love is a Battlefield,” “Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves,” “Half Breed,” “Don’t Leave Me This Way” and a “I Got You Babe” accompanied by video of Sonny, “If I Could Turn Back Time,” “Strong Enough,” her mega hit “Believe” and more.

Poker Tournaments at Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace Poker Room has 30 live tables featuring the hottest poker tournaments and games, including Texas Hold 'Em, Seven-Card Stud and Omaha.

Their expansive main Poker Room spans 8,500 square feet. In addition, there is an adjacent private poker tournament area spanning another 6,000 square feet. Together, Caesars Palace Poker Room is the biggest in Las Vegas.

High limit poker games are packed with excitement. Seasoned players demonstrate their skills and experience with robust card playing strategies. The low limit tables provide a relaxing and casual game for the recreational player.

Their Poker Room reflects world-class standard in style. The décor is suited with famous paintings and iconic images by sports photographer Neil Leifer.

Starting August 1, 2009, players have a shot at the $100,000 Bad Beat Jackpot. It offers $40,000 for the losing hand and $20,000 for the winning hand. All the players in the room share the rest. $10,000 is added weekly until a win. The CP Classic runs October 14 -29, 2009. Additional daily poker tournaments typically run 9 am, Noon, 3 pm, 7 pm and 11 pm.

Serendipity 3 - $1000 Dessert

Serendipity 3 serves the Guinness World Record holder for the most expensive desert. The cost is a whopping $1,000. It includes five scoops of Tahitian vanilla ice cream, rare chocolates, exotic fruits and a 23-karat edible gold leaf.

They are a casual café with pricing starting at around $15. They serve generous portions of American style favorites such as burgers and dogs, sandwiches and pastas. They offer tasty unique creations such as a turkey sandwich on a raisin pumpernickel bun with apples, cranberry mayo and Brie.

Serendipity is also known for a special treat called the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate. It is a blend of 20 different kinds of chocolate into an icy, rich cocoa flavor. There are plenty of other decadent deserts to choose from.

If a sweet cocktail is more in order, try the candy cotton martini. They offer a full bar.

They open at 11 am weekdays and 10:30 am on weekends. They stay open late until 11 pm, and 12 am on Friday and Saturdays.
